I run Netatalk on my linux server at home, for file transfers between my
Windoze machines and my iMac. It works very well and the two different OS's
do not know that the other is out there. I believe the netatalk is running
the appletalk network protocol.

I believe it's also the only application in existance for Linux... at
least among freely-available software packages.
