This is strange, as I have a 16mb card, with 8.4mb free. I'll try setting
a smaller cache and see what that does, however, I think that the cache was
set at 500k.

-10600 is a Card Store Error

it sounds like your card is nearly full?

in addition to deleting some stuff, you could set caches smaller in
Nethopper or Newt's Cape.
