Diana,

I'm not aware of any software that would allow two Newtons to communicate
directly (except using beaming), so you will also need a Mac (or PC). You
could backup one Newton's notes and dates using NCU, and then restore
this backup (just notes and dates) to the other. Having said that, if you
have a memory card, you could backup to the card on one Newton and
restore from the same card on the other. There's one caveat: the eMate
can only write to 5V/5V cards, and I'm not sure the MP130 can handle
those cards (does anyone know?).
