Sorry to tell you that, but no, you won't be able to print over IR using your
110, because the IrDA protocol needed to do anything useful with IR was
implemented only when 2.1 devices were introduced. Your 110 was introduced
before the IrDA standard was finalized, so it couldn't implement the protocol.

The only useful IR use that pre-2.1 devices can do is beaming to another Newton,
period.
