I do know what you mean about weight in a shirt pocket, but I've tried a Palm there too, and neither work for me. Extra 2 oz. or not, I'm too likely to bend over and dump the device on the floor. My iPAQ rides in my pants pocket, and it is very comfortable there. Plus I don't always have a shirt pocket, but nearly always a pocket elsewhere. So I guess I'm saying there's a difference between shirt and pant pocket.
I wish my Newton could ride around with me as easily... Imagine a palm form-factor newton that docks into an eMate!
