Well, I didn't go into that level of details, but that's basically what I do:
brain wipe, packages installation, then a partial restore with only the
information. My reasoning is that since the packages aren't going to change in the
store, as opposed to the information, it makes sense to install them first, then
restore the volatile information. That's what I always did. Never experienced any
slowdown.
